Kettering Badminton Club is a friendly and competitive badminton club, which has proudly been recognised as a Badminton England Premier Club. This accreditation, known as the Clubmark Standard, is a nationally recognised quality mark awarded to community sports clubs that demonstrate high standards of coaching, management, safeguarding, and player development.

We play at Bishop Stopford School Sports Hall, Kettering (NN15 6BJ). The venue offers four badminton courts, changing facilities, male and female showers, and on-site parking.

​

The club caters for players of all ages and abilities, offering junior coaching sessions, senior club nights, and several competitive teams that compete in the Northants League.

 

Junior Club

• Friday evenings, 6:00pm to 7:00pm

• Coaching provided by qualified Level 1 and Level 2 coaches

Adult Senior Club

• Friday Club Night (Main Club Night)

  • 7:00pm to 9:45pm

  • A mix of men's doubles, ladies' doubles, mixed doubles, open doubles, and occasional singles matches

  • Games are organised using a board rota system to ensure fair play and varied matchups throughout the evening

• Wednesday Club Night and League Night 

  • Competitive league matches are played between 7:00pm and 9:00pm using two courts

  • Additional club play is available for senior members when court space allows

​Socials:

• Kettering Badminton Club enjoys a vibrant social side, with a variety of events held throughout the year, including meals out, BBQs, go-karting, and casino nights. Many members also enjoy socialising over a drink after club sessions, making the club a great place to meet new people and build lasting friendships.​
