Can I try Before Joining

Absolutely.

 

Visitors are welcome to attend our Senior Club Night for up to three sessions at a cost of £10 per night.

 

After your third visit, we'll ask whether you'd like to apply for membership. The Management Committee will then confirm whether we can offer you a place within the club.​

 

This gives you the opportunity to experience the club, meet our members and make sure we're the right fit for you.

 

​Am I Good Enough

Kettering Badminton Club is a social and competitive club, and we work hard to maintain a good standard of play for all members.

​

While players of varying abilities are welcome, the club is generally aimed at those who already have some badminton experience. We do not currently offer formal coaching for senior players, so the club is not suitable for beginners or those new to the sport.

If you're unsure whether we're the right standard for you, why not come along for a trial visit and see for yourself?

 

​Can I Come Alone

Absolutely.

​

Many of our members first attended on their own, so you'll be in good company.

​

Whether you come by yourself or with friends, you'll receive a warm welcome and we'll make sure you're introduced to other members and included in games throughout the evening.

​

You're also welcome to bring someone along to watch while you play.

​

To help us welcome you properly, we'd appreciate it if you could contact us before attending so that we can keep an eye out for you when you arrive.

What Happens If I join

You'll be asked to complete a membership form and provide the information required for Badminton England affiliation and club administration.
