Our Junior Coaching sessions are open to children aged 6 to 16 years and take place every Friday evening from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Bishop Stopford School Sports Hall.

Sessions provide a combination of coaching and game play, helping players develop their badminton skills, improve their understanding of the game and, most importantly, enjoy playing badminton.

Coaching is led by our experienced Level 2 Coach, supported by qualified Level 1 Coaches and volunteers from our senior club.

Session Information

• Junior coaching takes place every Friday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm

• Coaching is provided during term time only

• The 2026/27 season runs from 11 September 2026 to 19 March 2027

• Annual membership fee: £130

• Payment must be made before the first session by bank transfer

• Please notify the Club Secretary on 07364268014 once payment has been made

 

​​What to Bring

For their safety and comfort, all players should:

• Wear suitable sports clothing

• Wear appropriate indoor sports footwear

• Bring a drink bottle

 

Players must not use the venue's drinking facilities unless they have their own bottle or cup.

Parents and Guardians

The safety and wellbeing of our junior members is a priority. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children before the session starts and immediately after the session ends.

​

Please take extra care during drop-off and collection, particularly in the car park and around the sports hall.

​Junior Successes

Many of our juniors go on to play in our adult club and have played in tournaments, county selections and our league matches.

A Junior Membership Form must be completed and returned to ketteringbadders@gmail.com before your child attends. This is available on request to the above email.
